Envases: Promoting young talents is an investment in the future!

Today's brewer trainees are tomorrow's customers! Envases is aware of this and has therefore always invested a lot of money as well as heart and soul in the promotion of young talent. As the world market leader, Envases sees its role not only as an innovation driver and reliable partner for its customers. For years, for example, the company has maintained a partnership with the Vocational School Center in Kulmbach, the second largest vocational school center in Upper Franconia, which operates its own training brewery.

As a global market leader, Envases sees its role not only as an innovation driver and reliable partner for its customers. Envases also invests in the promotion of young talent and actively supports brewers of tomorrow. For years, for example, the company has maintained a partnership with the vocational school center in Kulmbach, the second largest vocational school center in Upper Franconia. Here, the associated Hans Wilsdorf School once again presented the prestigious Rolex Award. It went to Stefanie Roß, who graduated at the top of her class with a fantastic grade of 1.0 in her training as an industrial clerk at Kulmbach-based spice specialist Raps. “We want to be the first and only true ones in our field.” With this quote from Hans Wilsdorf, founder of the exclusive Rolex watch brand and one of Kulmbach’s most famous, principal Alexander Battistella praised the capable new generation.

As a partner of the brewing industry, Envases Öhringen GmbH has been supporting the Kulmbach School Center for some time. Most recently, for example, the company generously supported the school with equipment. In 2022, Envases also donated 1,500 party kegs, which were individually printed. In these barrels, the young brewers could fill their self-created beer in style.

“Bierwerk” is the name of the brewer trainees’ own beer brand at the vocational school center. With the help of the modern filling system, which Envases helped to purchase, the home-brewed beer can be conveniently filled into mini-kegs. Envases also donated 1,500 five-liter kegs. With their matte black look and silver imprint, they really stand out!

Since then, the stylish minikegs with the delicious home-brewed trainee beer have become a beloved souvenir in the region and a popular gift from District Administrator Klaus Peter Söllner on all his visits to celebrities, politicians and business people. After all, Kulmbach is widely known as the Upper Franconian beer town and the “epicenter of Upper Franconia’s beer country” (in the words of the district administrator). So it’s only logical to distribute the coveted amber nectar as an exclusive gift and thus promote the local art of brewing.

The modern brewing school in Kulmbach captivates the leadership team of the minikeg manufacturer from Öhringen. For Envases, promoting young talent is a matter of the heart – after all, a solid education forms the foundation of the brewing craft. The world market leader in minikeg is well aware that today’s trainees are the brewers – and therefore also the customers – of the future!
