Beer and art: Mira Brewery showcases the perfect symbiosis!

The sounds of guitars, violins, and pianos fill the air as the brewers at Mira passionately perfect their creations. It's a symbiosis of brewing art and melody, where the vibrant energy of music transcends into every drop of brewed beer. The Mira Brewery opens its doors not only to beer enthusiasts but also to music lovers. Regular events feature local bands and musicians performing while guests savor the diversity of Mira beers. The stage, framed by barrels, becomes a meeting place for people who share the joy of good beer and captivating music. And for those who seek even more art, they should take a moment to appreciate the house's labels and minikegs. Here, Mira collaborates with renowned street artists, creating outstanding editions that become collector's items.

In the gentle hills of France, where the vines sway in the wind, and one would expect wine rather than beer – there lies the Mira Brewery. Yet, it’s not just about the perfect beer; it’s also about the harmonious connection of brewing, art, and music. This is more than a marketing strategy; it’s a life philosophy. It’s not just about the end product in the bottle or can; it’s about the entire artistic process that enlivens the senses and brings the community together.

Beer and art: A vision comes to life!

The founding of Mira Brewery is closely tied to the passionate vision and entrepreneurial spirit of its founder, Pierre Renaud. Over two decades ago, Renaud took the bold step of establishing a small brewery in the picturesque hills of France. His goal was not only to brew top-notch beer but also to create an oasis of creativity and community spirit. Pierre Renaud, an avid beer lover and visionary, had a clear idea of how to merge the tradition of brewing with modern innovation.

Mira Brewery – a success story

Pierre Renaud aimed for perfection, experimenting with different hop varieties and malt blends to create beers of unique taste and character. The brewery can now look back on a rich assortment, entirely crafted on-site. From milling the grains to fermenting the wort – everything is done by the brewers in-house. With 1000 square meters of brewing space, approximately 10,000 hectoliters of aromatic beer are brewed annually. What makes the beer so unique? It’s brewed with natural spring water that has been flowing for over 22,000 years from a depth of 330 meters beneath the Bay of Arcachon. Thirty-seven layers of earth filter the water, making it entirely free of pesticides, chlorine, and nitrates. This is a unique selling point that naturally influences the taste and aroma.

The Harvest Ale relies on fresh hops!

The Mira Brewery doesn’t rest on its laurels but continuously introduces unusual new product creations to the market. The latest addition to the product family is the ‘Harvest Ale,’ a malty and creamy beer with aromatic hints of honey and grain. What sets it apart is the hops. They are not only freshly harvested but processed within two hours of harvesting. This way, they are not dried, as is usual in the brewing process, but entirely fresh, preserving their full original taste and aroma. The Harvest Ale is offered in an Envases Minikeg, showcasing the brewery’s exceptional designs.

Beer and art: Street art meets the Minikeg!

For many years, the Mira Brewery has embraced the diversity of modern street art. To fully exploit this potential, artists are regularly recruited to creatively design labels, cans, and minikegs. The brewery’s aromatic IPAs are perfectly staged in this manner. The 5-liter barrels offer a particularly extensive canvas. The brewery has a whole range, filled with various delicious beer varieties, to offer. Artists love these small barrels – they provide them with the opportunity to unleash their full creativity. Naturally, these minikegs become coveted collector’s items, adorning many hallways or party cellars.

Art, music and festivals

Art in the form of street art and creative label as well as can design is one side, music is the other for the creative Mira Brewery. The in-house brasserie not only hosts regular concerts but also houses a music school that educates and nurtures musical talent. Additionally, the Mira Brewery is seeking patrons for a very special music project: supporting unknown but talented music bands with studio recordings and live performances. The brewery sees itself as a sponsor, promoter, and platform for becoming known. It finances videos, recordings, and performances – true patronage combined with the best brewing art. A unique connection!

Pierre Renaud’s vision has become a reality and a great success story. Today, under the leadership of Pierre Renaud’s son, Lucas Renaud, the Mira Brewery remains a tribute to its founder’s vision. The beers have gained international recognition, yet the brewery has not forgotten its local ties and roots.
