With 968 exhibitors, the event served as an impressive platform for breweries, suppliers, and creative startups alike.

The Highlight: European Beer Star und European Beer Future Award

One of the standout moments of BrauBeviale was the European Beer Star awards ceremony, one of the most prestigious accolades in the global brewing world. The jury, comprised of brewmasters, beer sommeliers, and industry experts, evaluated beers from around the globe across 73 categories—a record-breaking number.
For the first time, the Future Award was also presented during BrauBeviale 2024, focusing on “Innovative Technical Solutions for Reducing Primary Energy Consumption in Breweries.” On November 27, an independent jury recognized three outstanding projects that demonstrated practical applications of sustainability and efficiency.
The winners—Westerwald Brewery from Hachenburg, Göller Brewery from Zeil am Main, and Baar Brewery from Baar, Switzerland—impressed with their innovative approaches to reducing energy consumption, serving as role models for the entire sector. The Future Award 2024 underscored the critical role of technological innovation and sustainability strategies in shaping the future of the beverage industry, providing an inspiring call to action for those committed to advancing the field.
Envases is especially proud of the recognition received by Göller Brewery, a valued client. The family-owned brewery from Zeil am Main also won a coveted silver medal for their Göller Weizenbock.
